Ended up at a pretty rad concert tonight at The Showbox. The Showbox is pretty much my favorite venue in Seattle and going to be getting torn down soon to make a huge 300 unit building. Ugghhhhh. I hate the way Seattle is losing its personality. Anyway the concert was rad, the guy had a great voice. He was this Nigerian sorta baratone'ish voice, semi r&b type music. good crowd energy and one of those powerful voices where you're like "oh man, I dont think this guy even needs his mic." voice was just that powerful. Back at home now, and in bed (actually on the sofa - but same thing).  |

This song ... In October 2018, a friend of mine died, my friend and I miss him. I wanted to write to him, ask him how he was and how things were going. All this a week before his death.
I sent a message to his number and it was no longer his, he had gone to live and work in Dubai. And it is strange now to think that he is not here anymore.

I'm doing the "discovering new music saturday" evening yah.... when I was doing school again, last time it was right next to a record store, SILVER PLATTERS, I'd go there almost every day after class and kill time - searching through stuffs. it was fun, but expensive. I ended up having a preety wide range of stuffs to listen to. that record store is gone now though. and my music likes are back to only liking like 3 artists. š¤·š»āāļøš¤š© |
