I used to listen to him so much,
Would travel to see him (never flying, but taking trains down to Oregon and that sorta stuff)
And then I completely burnt myself out on his voice.
I think the last time I saw him was the night Funhouse came out.
The show was at Benaroya Hall and I rushed over to Easy Street records for the midnight sale right after the show got out.
I think that’s right, I dunno. 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway, back in rotation you go.
I missed you. ❤️

Paula Abdul ❤️ She’s so dope to me. And I hate that people seem to forget that. They think of her as just an American Idol judge and/or an alcoholic rather than being a pretty talented pop star / entertainer / dancer. I saw her like a year or two ago with The New Kids On The Block, and hearing her talk about her hustle working to become a Laker Girl (LA Lakers cheerleader). She auditioned 3 times the same day after being rejected the other times, each time using a different name, and changing her outfit / hair - pushed her way to the front, stood where she wasn’t supposed to and made it happen. It was a big fucking deal, Especially being 5’0” (152cm), when most of the cheerleaders were 5’9” (175cm).... I love that. I play her all the time at work, So many great fuggin’ songs. She was one of my idol when I was young, maybe 10-12 years old and she still has a special place in my heart. I would be very happy if I could see her show. But no NKOTB, please. Once is enough Hahaha |
