I've been listening quite a bit to Alanis Morissette lately and I just can't get enough. I mean I already knew she was brilliant, but I found some really nice gems by diving through older releases.
Jagged Little Pill album has literally been on repeat, along with a few recent songs.

I saw Alice do this song a few times in 2008 or 2009 and it was just so fucking good…..
still no idea why she never recorded it in the studio.
her voice so friggin’ powerful - I remember thinking, “maaannn, she doesnt even need that microphone”
and that note she hits and holds in this video at about 3:30
fucking ridiculous.
love this song.
maybe some day we’ll get a real recording.
though it being almost 15 years now, I’m not getting my hopes up.
