For me, all Beyoncé, Taylor and Gaga releases are overrated (and Pink has never had and is unlikely to have media support for her releases like they do). They may even be good albums, but they are so compelling as if they were events that change the world of the music industry that I simply don't even waste my time listening to them anymore. But talking about Pink. I believe so, she needs time to get inspired again, but it doesn't have to be 5 years. I think that a maximum of 3 or 4 years is enough (I think we will have a new album in 2027). But she needs to leave RCA and needs to renew her team, but unfortunately I believe that this will not happen. She needs people who don't say yes to everything she wants to do, she needs guidance regarding the release of her albums, singles, promotion and planning her tours. She needs to want it. As for the style of the new album, I don't think a completely country album is the answer, just as she doesn't need to release a Christmas album. She can diversify as she always has, but she definitely needs to reduce the number of slow songs (no one can take it anymore). We want pop rock and happy, fun pop songs. No more songs for and with your children. (someone she listens to needs to tell her some truths).
But other than that, definitely agree.
Maybe one day I'll give their latest albums a try. But sorry, I wasn't impressed with American Requiem. Pink could easily do a song like this. I love Bey's voice, it's great and maybe Pink doesn't have all the possibilities she has. But I still prefer Pink's voice and songs. What she needs is to work better on the possibilities and qualities of her voice and work better (with blood, sweat and tears) like she used to do until TTAL. She needs to take more risks, but without the need to completely change her style. A return to the origins or a reinterpretation might be just what she needs. There is a lack of inspiration, creativity and a little perfectionism. As for Taylor (the last album I listened to was Midnights and the song I liked most was Anti-Hero). Beyoncé was Lemonade and I liked Formation. I thought Renaissance was horrible. Gaga I liked Million Reasons and Perfect Illusion. I didn't like Chromatica. But my favorite of the last few releases was The Cure.
